Outfit of the day... I'm a cougar. Rarrrw.

I am loving this leopard shirt from H&M but I do feel slightly uncomfortable in it because it's bolder than I usually go for. I love the fabric and cut of it and I think it will go cute with a lot of things. I got this yesterday for around $29.

-Jeans are from Charlotte Russe "Opal Jeans". Not sure if these are flare or boot cut.
-Belt Target
-Watch Micheal Kors
-Necklace Lisa Taubes
-Nail polish Essie Turquoise and Caico
-We went out to a yummy middle eastern restaurant and I wore black BCBG boots {not pictured}

My son wanted to join in on the "fun". He was my shirtless cowboy today!:)

Benefit Radiant Skincare colletion

I was e-mailed a coupon from Sephora VIB to try  a sample pack of Benefit's new skincare line called Radiant. I had no expectations since I hadn't heard anything about it before that but I like free things so hey why not give it a go. I cannot tell you how pleased and happy I am that I picked this up! You all know that I'm a bit of a skincare junkie and it does take a lot to impress me because I do have rather sensitive skin and can break out at the tip of a hat if something irritates my skin.
This sample pack came with three items
{I don't know if this sample pack is still available or not}.
The packaging is too cute... gotta love when thought and creativity goes into something!

{Also, sorry for the lack of "real" photos... my son lost my photo card for my camera, again! }

1. It's Potent! eye cream- this eye cream is awesome. It is fragrance free and extremely silky to the touch. You can see the brighting effects right away! I really like this eye cream a lot!

2. Foamingly clean facial wash- I can't tell you how much I LOVE this cleanser. I already ordered one the day I put this lovely product on my face! This is a lot like the Missha Super Aqua cleaner I love but this one is a lot more accessible to get and dare I say it does make my face feel softer and smoother. It's seriously like silk! The scent is out of this world delish. It's honestly really nice. I'm a huge fan of foam cleansers so this is perfect for me. Also, it's $21 which I don't think is too bad in price... I thought it was going to be a lot more so I am very surprised!

3.Triple performing facial emulsion spf 15- another product that really blew me away. This has the same scent as the cleaner and I can't get enough of it. This really does a great job at moisturizing my face and leaving it baby soft. I love that it keeps my face really nice and smooth but it's not a thick and heavy cream! You do get quite a bit with the sample so I have a week or two left until I finish it and this WILL be something I will order as well. The only thing I don't like is the glass bottle. I know they wanted it to be cute but it's a pain to get product out... it's kinda like a glass ketchup bottle... if you know what I mean :::tap tap tap::: But, other then that... it's perfection... for me. Again, this is only $28! Not bad, not bad at all.
PS- this is oil free! :)

So, from what I tried... I am IN LOVE with this new line and I can't wait to try more. I am counting the days until my cleaner comes!

Have you tried this? What did you think? Were you love like I am??

Nutrition - rant

I was watching TV today and there was a commercial for the Activia yogurt. Have you heard about it?
Basically if you have indigestion, or you feel bloated, or feel like you have a balloon in your stomach, you should eat this yogurt.

Are you freaking kidding me?!

Even if it works temporarily, it will not stop the problem. You would still suffer from the same symptoms, it would cure it momentarily, but not for good.

People buy this stuff, because they are lazy and won't change their eating habits. Changing eating habits would cure the problem, you wouldn't suffer from indigestion, and wouldn't need to buy yogurt, that costs twice or three times that what normal yogurt costs.

Stop eating crap food. It really is that simple.

Instead, eat full grain products, get rid of plain white bread made of processed wheat flour. That is your problem. Eat foods with lots of fiber in them, they are good for your intestines, you know, the part where food is really broken into little pieces and molecules that you absorb. Eat fruits, vegetables, fiber rich products, dairy, protein.

If you have celiac disease, then I don't know what you can eat and what you can't... Sorry.

Now, are you trying to lose weight?

Stop going to McDonald's. Ordering a large Big Mac meal - with diet coke. Like that diet coke would make it any better. The burger and fries still have a bunch of unnecessary calories, just because you take diet coke instead of normal coke, you are not going to lose weight. Stop going to McDonald's. Eat healthy foods, and exercise. It is that simple!

You don't need to starve yourself. In fact, starving yourself probably wouldn't even work. Say, you are starving yourself of good nutrients, you get hungry, you need something to eat quick, you get a chocolate bar, and starve yourself more. First, you starve yourself. Second, even if you are trying to lose weight, you still need a certain amount of calories, carbohydrates, fats. Yes, fats. You need fats to create new cells. Good fats, stay away from bad fats. Use oils, eat nuts (they contain a bunch of calories, so eat in moderation). High cholesterol levels aren't good either.

Eat in moderation, but enough of everything. Exercise. You won't starve yourself and become sick. You eat enough of these vital ingredients, your cells wont die off, and you exercise. Your physical stamina gets better, if you exercise outside, you get fresh air at the same time. Don't drive a block to lunch, you should walk instead. Don't use an elevator. Take the stairs. But be reasonable here too, I don't expect you to climb up 60 floors. Go with the elevator to the 55ft floor, and climb up the rest 5. Climbing up the stairs is better for your knees than climbing down the stairs. If you already have knee issues, maybe climbing up stairs isn't going to fix them, so figure out something else you can do.

Fixing indigestion, or popping the balloon in your stomach, it is not going to get fixed with "special yogurt", fix your diet first, and you fix the problem.

To lose weight eat in moderation and exercise enough. Get all the important nutrients by eating lots of vegetables, use whole grain products instead of white processed wheat flour products, eat fruits, nuts, dairy. Walk instead of driving short-medium distances. Try biking medium distances to work. Driving one block to have lunch somewhere is just silly.

I'm not a nutritionist, but bread baked from plain, white flour doesn't do anyone any good. Make sure you get your vitamins preferably from your balanced diet. Not from supplements. They are what they are - supplements - not to be used instead of a healthy, balanced diet.

Come on people! This all is common sense!

Now, I am done with my rant. I give the stage for you, my lovely readers. Do you have thoughts on nutrition, losing weight and such?

Keep in mind, I am not a nutritionist, but really, all the things I have said here are common sense, are they not?

Are you a Fujoshi? 你是宅女吗?

Are you a Fujoshi or not?! Or an Otaku??!!!

Hmmmmm wait, what's a Fujoshi or Otaku? How do you know if a person is Otaku / Fujoshi?

Otaku aka 宅男 / Fujoshi aka 宅女、腐女子 refer to boys and girls who are:
Overenthusiastic about something, for instance: anime, video games, celebrities, internet, certain person or object.
Suffering from Computer & Internet Addiction Disorder. Although they usually don't have much thing to do with internet, they couldn't cope without it for a day or *less*.
Stay at home all the time instead of having normal social life. They need to consider once, twice, or thrice for every single outdoor activities.
Weak in social skills. They do not wish for attention or acceptance in real life. Also, they refuse to socialize with new friends and distant themselves from people.

For a brief explanation of Fujoshi, refer to the picture below:

Look alike, sound alike? (Oh no, please don't tell me that it is exactly the same :P)

I bring so much courage to post this photo.
Guess what, this is like the very first time I post my self-portrait with a super nude face + spectacles!
Okay now, let's see how Fujoshi am I...

1. Hair like she just woke up Check! My hair can be even more unruly!

2. No make up and round face Double check! :"(

3. Bad manners mouth shaped like tha kana I purposely make my mouth shaped like that in the photo teehee

4. Wears a tank top and a pair of underpants at home. No bra, of course
Half check :$ Hey don't be suprise, girls usually don't like to wear bra at home!

5. Laptop she bought because the sales rep said it was good. Bookmarks on Boys-Love and cate sites
No check for this one. My bookmarks are all about blogs, girly stuff & online shopping.

6. Like cats, but is allergic so can't have one. Desk accessories full of cat. Ewww no, I prefer puppy.

7. Lotsa white hairs despite being young. Brown hair dyes with white hair dye.
In fact there're three colours in my hair now.
When my black root grows longer later, it will just look like Teh C Special wtf -_______-

Black, dark brown & light brown. Gahhhhh

8. Dirt-cheap glasses that doesn't fit her face because they're cheap
My glasses are always crooked because I don't keep them inside their case when they're not being used for a long time. I just simply place them into my bag and that's why.

9. Hair just tied up and fixed it with a pin
Exactly, or even with a comb on my fringe only HAHAHAHAHA

Super easy and convenient because you can comb your hair anytime.
With this, you can avoid to answer the door with crazy hair!

10. Flabby arms. Fat thighs. Scroll up and see it yourself :(

11. Tank-top bought at the neighborhood Saty store for 980 yen a three-pack. Three-for-980 yen underpants.
Not to that extend la, so pathetic can!

My result: 7/11

More than half! Ohhhh I'm pretty close to become a real Fujoshi! LOL

How's yours? Share your scores with me, I'd love to know! :D

Reader's question and request - Rimmel's base coat

LightPinkPearl asked me some questions about the Rimmel London Base coat.

I did my nails today again, and applied the base coat again.

She asked me how the color turnout was. Unfortunately the color does not show at all, so I did not even take pictures, because you'd see a nail with clear polish on. It's like I would have applied a top coat. No difference in appearance. So if you wanted to buy the base coat because of it's color, I suggest you don't. It applies like a clear polish. The little shimmer's that you could see in the bottle are not visible. Even if applied 2-3 coats, it's a clear polish.

Her other question was that does the nail polish have any bad ingredients such as toluene or formaldehyde. And I do not have an answer to that. The nail polish bottle does not have an ingredient list. Rimmel London's webpage does not have an ingredient list for this nail polish. I looked at my other Rimmel polishes and they don't have ingredient lists either, on the bottles at least. Okay, shouldn't there be mention of the ingredients?  Isn't that in the law? I looked and looked the bottle over and there is nothing. They only mention the polish is "Enriched with calcium and keratin." In five different languages.

My Orly nail polishes say they do not have toluene, formaldehyde or DBP in them. Rimmel's polishes make no mention about these or any ingredients unfortunately. Safest bet would be to try Orly, or some other brand that clearly states the polish does not include these ingredients.

YSL Teint Radiance Foundation = flawless face!

Without a doubt I have found my Holy Grail foundation in the MUFE HD but that doesn't stop me from trying to find the next best thing. I have been playing around with about 3 different YSL samples and I think I have found myself a true keeper... Teint Radiance {I use #5}. My gosh is this foundation nice. You wanna flawless face with a nice glow {but without being "dewy"} than this is the foundation for you! The coverage is medium but it's buildable. It has a nice fruity melon scent like all other YSL products which I really like! The lasting power is pretty impressive. I'm sure if you were someone who was out all day you might need a touch up after 6 or 7 hours. It does come with a pretty hefty price tag- $48. This is a light defusing foundation meaning it has transparent minerals pigments to allow light reflection for that stunning glow. It has SPF 20 and comes in 8 shades.

So, yes... you could say I'm in love! <3

What I'm wearing:
YSL Teint Radiance in #5
Dior Bronzer Original Tan in Amber Tan 03
IT Cosmetics concealer in Medium

Eyes:
L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Urban Decay 24 7 Liner in Zero
MAC Shroom

Lips:
Givenchy in Rose Taboo lipgloss

Hat:
Target

Have you tried this amazing foundations? What are YOUR thoughts? Pros/cons? I'd love to hear!:)

RIP to the beautiful Elizabeth Taylor

UDPP and other eyeshadow primer

My first one and for long the only eyeshadow primer was the eyeshadow primer by Lumene.

I have been very pleased with it. It matches my skin tone so if I'm not even wearing foundation, I put on this and it makes my eyelids match my face color.

I've used this so that I apply this on my eyelid and brow bone, and put my mineral powder foundation on top of it. Then the eyeshadows and I haven't had any problems. I have heard negative reviews about this that this would be utter crap, but I really don't see it...

I had this for well over a year, and finally the day came that I could not squeeze anymore out of the package. I though, oh I might as well cut this open and get the last bits and pieces out and on my eyelids. Lo and behold, there was a whole lot left!!! The unused, full sized primer is 7 ml. And there was this much left...

I took my smallest package where I could put the rest of the primer, and that was a 30 ml container, too big yes, but it was my smallest.

And to think I was about to throw this away. I've always known, that in bottles like this, there will always be some left, but I did not think this much. Body lotions I always open up, cause they're in a bottle like this, but the amount in proportion to the package is nothing like this.

Because I knew I was running out of this primer, I ordered Urban Decay Primer Potion from lookfantastic.com. It took a while to get to me, so I went and bought another Lumene primer, and I have yet to open it, and UDPP, because I have this much of this left...

Nail polish haul and review. Fruity smelling polishes.

I bought a few nailpolishes a while ago...

I got Rimmel London's new fruity smelling nailpolishes. I only found two of the four polishes - Apricot Punch and Cranberry Zest.

The nailpolish smells like nailpolish when it's wet, but when it's dry it's a very fruity scent. It's quite strong actually. On the first day it gave me a little headache, but the next day it was better, smelled less strongly.

The two colors I have smell different, but not by much. I put one color in one hand and the other in my other hand, except I switched the polishes around for my ring fingers.

I don't like Apricot Punch, the peach one. It doesn't look good for my skin tone. I'm too pale. Cranberry Zest is way better. and it smells nice, though they smell very similar.

Under the color polishes I put this, which is also a new addition to my nailpolish collection. Until now, I've just put a layer of topcoat under a color polish, but now I purchased an actual base coat polish. It's "double duty", it is a base coat and strengthens and protects nails supposedly.

I bought a top coat to go with it. Also by Rimmel London. It's an ultra shine top coat. So far, I haven't thought of it to be more shiny than any other top coat... I've used this a lot after I bought it, but not on top of the fruit smelling nail polishes at all.

On another trip I bought two Models Own polishes, but I can't find the better, the gorgeous blue one. I think I must have forgotten it at my boyfriend's place, cause I had it there with me.

Anyways, this green, Jade Stone, is gorgeous, but looks horrible on me! :(

Have you tried these? What do you think of them?

St. Patrick's Day

This year I didn't do a green makeup look, but I had a green shirt on so I didn't get pinched. ;)

Last year I wore a look like this.

His Birthday ♥

This is the post dedicated to my boy whose birthday fell on few days ago, that was 10th March.
I am not a really considerate lover like him, who had done so much for my 19th birthday.
What I had done for his birthday was tryin' to prepare his favourite birthday gift & best birthday cake for him.
The former mission was a success. I knew it at the moment he received his birthday gift.
He was really surprised as it totally looked similar to the one he had eyed @Al-Ikhsan, Jusco Tebrau.
He was jumping for joy and couldn't wait to try it in front of the mirror!

There it is! He loves leisure shoes with simple design and plain colour combination.

As usual, we had birthday celebration dinner together with the besties. And this time, we headed out for dinner @The Big Mouth Cafe.

Dressed up as if like it was my birthday! :P
If you think my photos are disgustingly fake, that’s because you can’t admit to yourself that I’m disgustingly photogenic to look better than you.

This was the second time visit for most of us. For the first time visit, I had barely seen any customers there though that was dinner time. However, more customers were dining there that night. Perhaps it explained for the smaller portion of food served? :P

Cheesy wedges. Look at the cheesy flood! Yum!

Kinda disappointed with this dish because the portion was smaller than it was served at the first time visit.
The fish slices were slightly off too.

I forgot what it called but a thumb up from boyfriend to this side dish.

A thumb down from YingYing to the dessert.

We played a prank on him. I hinted the waitress to serve the chocolate tart and we started singing the birthday song. And we told him to hold the glass a.k.a the candle to take a pic! LOL

This time, the cupcakes were what we had for the birthday boy. Specially ordered for the basketball fanatic like the boyfriend! It's actually basketball & jersey design but the baker failed to make the design I wanted on the cuppies :(

Don't need to pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars, you could really use a wish right now. (Airplanes - B.o.b hits the playlist now :P)

Wish you to be cheerful as always, my happy-go-lucky boy!

*Group pic*

Lastly, a little cheesy moment for us.
Thanks for your existence to brighten up my life.
There'll always be fun, joy and laughter whenever you're around.

With you, who still need Kinder Joy? HAHAHAHAHA ignore my lame joke, Happy 20th Birthday my boy!

Essie Sand Tropez

So, I'm not really a nail polish connoisseur like some girls out there. I don't collect nail polish, I don't like putting it on, waiting for it to dry and then taking it off {I'm the WORST at getting around to taking it off}. It's about as fun as doing the dishes to me. Lately though I've really found some amazing colors by Essie that it makes me want to try and keep my nails looking nice. I've been loving Fiji, Nice is Nice and now....
Sand Tropez

The application is easier to work with than let's say Fiji. It still goes on a bit streaky so two coats is a must but it's a very pretty shiny beige neutral. I think it's a very classic color for days when you don't want your nails to look to loud but still look nice.

I got this from Walmart for $7.75 and this is part of their new collection.
