As Time Goes By

I had reported the incident happened three days ago to the security department with the assist of Student Representative Council yesterday. I was informed by the campus security department just now that I would have to witness against the suspect on next Monday as they have got a clear vision of him on the CCTV.

I got a call from the director of security department and I was quite surprised when he told me that the suspect was a local student instead of internatioanl student. When I restated that the suspect had an distinct Arabian appearance, Director questioned me about his accent. I recalled and I realised that he actually talked with a local English accent instead of Arabian's. In the Director's opinion, he thinks that the suspect is a local Indian or Sikh who has an Arabian look. Thus, I would like to say that we shall not have any prejudice against the international student. This is because I can see that there are lotsa negative impression on IS from time to time, especially people's comments on this incident. Anyone in this world could has the criminal tendencies. Please be fair.

Besides that, the Director also told me that probably they would require my cooperation for the lodging of police report. According to my previous experience, I don't really wish to report this case to the police. You can understand why I'm saying so from here. Also, I'm afraid about my personal safety in the future if I lodge the police report. What if the criminal just go scot-free after my accuse? Will he repeat his old mistakes or even seek revenge on me? Here's another story about the incident happened in University Green apartment where I stayed last year. A panties pervert was caught red-handed at the victim's apartment and he was seized one night in the Ayer Keroh police station until the next morning he was bailed with a couple hundreds bucks. Until now he's still taking up his old trade. I guess that the residents of Taman Dahlia or Taman Kerjasama must have heard about him. You know what? In our country, the money rules. I am really in the trauma right now. Report the case to the police, should I?

The main objective to report this incident to the campus department is to raise the awareness of personal safety among the student community. I don't wish to blow up the matter by reporting it to the police. What I really need is the efforts from the school to help us. I'm hoping deep down inside that there'll be no next similar case happen to another person in the future. It's really gratifying when I see the official notice from SRC in MMU Portal. At least more people are informed with the dangerous situation now.

So, how does this incident affect me? I am not going anywhere if I have to walk alone, no matter during the day or night. I have some psychological reactions like keep looking around everywhere even though I have a companion when walking. I am so suspicious for every single possibilities of being attacked or stalked. I will keep myself alert for my safety from now.

I guess I gained more in this incident. Of course I'm not saying that I'm happy for it. This would definitely be the last thing that I want to happen! Friends and strangers are sending their concern to me thru Facebook & Twitter. I really do appreciate those who gave me precious suggestions and words to comfort me. I can truly feel the warmth. You guys are sweet ♥

Do You Shave Your...PUXXY?

I don't believe a lot of what I heard about those sexually assaulted cases that happened at my campus area until yesterday. I used to treat them as some rumours. But what happened on me yesterday was not a grapevine. It is TRUE. FYI, I am currently studying at Multimedia University Melaka Campus.

It was five o'clock in the afternoon. As usual I was walking alone back from class to my hostel. I always walk home alone because I am staying at Taman Dahlia area which is the opposite side of Ixora Apartment where most of my friends stay at. Passing by the back gate near ITSD laboratory and the wide field - My 5 minutes daily route to school.

When I walked through the corridor of ITSD lab, a man stopped me and asked me for the time. He was an international student (I supposed he was an IS from my campus), with around 170cm height, an average weight and wearing black-coloured T-shirt and jeans. I felt uncomfortable when having the short conversation with him. He was being very friendly but I really didn't know the reason why I was scare. I avoided to look into his eyes because I remembered my mum used to remind me not to have eye contact when talking with strangers, so I didn't. In addition, the security guard was not around during that time.

Right after our conversation, I continued my way back to my hostel. I couldn't explain why I felt really uneasy after talked with him. Now I strongly believe that girls ought to have a faith in their sixth sense and use it to their full advantage. I quickened my step and kept glancing behind to ensure he wouldn't follow me. The worst thing happened. He walked behind me and soon he approached me again. Then I took out my phone and started calling my bf. However my bf missed the first call I made. He started another conversation with me again:

IS: "Hey I want to ask you, do you shave your legs?"

ME: "No I don't. Why? "

"Your legs look very fair and shiny! That's why I'm asking you whether you shave them or not. You're very pretty like you are one of the SRC's model." (p.s. IDK what he meant by the WTF SRC's model)

"Oh? Okay..."

I was so lost. I found myself couldn't talk properly edi.

"Do you shave your pussy?"

"........(STUNNED and praying so hard that my bf would pick up the phone immediately!)"

"Sorry I don't understand what do you mean," I said, in a calm yet twisted tone. Remain calm is the very important thing in the face of danger. Though I could only stick myself to the phone and hoping desperately that my bf would answer it.

"I mean your private part." He looked directly into my eyesight when he talked to me, like he was going to have further action soon in anytime. It was so damn creepy and I was freaked out with his expression. I peered in all directions and I saw TzeMyin who was Elaine's housemate last time. Finally a person I know!

Like finally, my bf picked up my call. "Sorry I have to answer this call now..." said me to that asshole. Then I told my bf to meet me at the field immediately. I couldn't talk in a proper way and I just told him to come fast. Eventually the asshole walked away. I knew I would start shouting for help if he didn't leave. I almost cried. I was so helpless!

Soon after he left, I walked towards TzeMyin and I told her about everything. We walked back together until the crossroad and we walked back separately to our house. One minute later I saw the bf and right away we went to TzeMyin's house together to ensure for her safety. Can you guess that I saw the asshole was still wandering at the residential area?! I told my bf in a terrified voice: "That's him! That's the pervert!" The bf wanted to confront him but I stopped him. What if that asshole was armed with weapon? We had only two persons that time.

I must say, our safety is not assured even in the broad daylight. The crime is so rampant nowadays so please be prepared to defend yourself anytime. Just to share with you girls and guys, too!

p.s. Thanks god for saving me from even crazier shit than this!

Quick everyday look.

I've been quite boring lately with my makeup.

But I think I have found the easy, everyday makeup, that always looks good and good for me. (And I've gotten compliments on it from a couple boys! Girls haven't said anything.)

This picture is not exactly how I've done the makeup during the past week or so. This version is a little modified.

I use MAC Bare Study paint pot on the whole lid. I put Artdeco's iridescent duochrome eyeshadow 203 - silica glass is it's name. It's one of the new Fashion Colors Fall/Winter 2010/2011. (The other iridescent duochrome for this collection is the 205 lucent ferrite. The new pearl shadows are 84 pearly lavender blossom and 80 pearly midnight blue)

So only MAC's Bare Study and Artdeco's 203 on the lid. I don't really do any blending separately, or add a highlight or a different, darker color in the crease. I just want the one shadow on the lid and a little in the crease.

Then I use Ben Nye's cake eyeliner in black and do a strong winged line. Sometimes more than show in the picture, sometimes less.

Then I fix my brows and add mascara. And that's it for the eyes. The mineral powder foundation, a little bronzer and blush. Ta-dah. Done. Fast and simple.

In the pictures on this post I've modified this look a little. I've added GDE Premonition to the lower lash line and the crease. When I just need to do my makeup quickly then I leave this part out.

What do you think?

Wannabe-MUA

It's official.

I don't know how to do makeup on others.

For Halloween I did my best friend's makeup, and that turned out quite okay. I did this makeup look on her somehow.

Then last Friday we went to a club to see this one band play and she wanted me to do her makeup. She dressed in red and black, I wanted to do a red look on her, and I started. Big Mistake!!! I just made her look sick. She removed the red and I started again. I decided to stick to neutrals, cause those are a safer in the end. I'm not too happy with how this look turned out, but she wanted me to do her makeup, and I did. And it didn't turn out _that_ bad, now that I think of it. The colors suited her and complemented her quite well. It's not perfect but I need to learn to do makeup on others too before our Lady Gaga-night. ;)

In the future, posts where I show you my work on others are under the tag wannabe-mua.

Now the look.

Problem #1. Her eye shape is different to mine. I'm not used to different eyeshapes.
Problem #2. I had to use different grips on my brushes, and draw on someone else.
Problem #3. I was afraid of poking her in the eye with either a brush or an eyeliner, which I ended up doing.

I probably should've asked her for a permission to upload a picture of the makeup I did on her, but I didn't. But before she sat down on the makeup chair I told her I was going to take a picture of the finished look and put that on my blog. :P She kept sitting in the makeup chair, hence, the picture is here.

And this is what I did on myself. It's not that great... I wish it would've looked better...

What do you think of my friend's look or mine? Do you do makeup on others? Any wise words?

Maybelline Pulse Perfection - review

In June I wrote about the Pulse Perfection mascara for the first time. Link to that post.

I received the mascara in May. I had agreed to do a product review for a company, and  as a reward for the review, I got this mascara, a nailpolish and a blemish curer thing that I gave to my friend cause I didn't have use for it.

In the stores this mascara costs anywhere from 12-17 euros. (1 euro = 1.3626 USD , Nov 16 2010)

There's 6,5 ml of product. That's 0,22 fl oz.

In all the makeup pictures in my blog from the middle of May till the end of August I've used this mascara. For example this look has this mascara.

It's not waterproof. But I did get thrown in the pool twice in England and the mascara stayed. As long as you don't scrub it, it was fine. My eyeliner on the other hand created a mess... :S And if some of that mess was mascara, it really wasn't much. In the end of the day, I had mascara left, but no eyeliner.

The wand is flimsy, it's made of rubber and the bristles are not terribly dense at all, and they're quite short.

I didn't find the vibrating action to be of any use. The results were the same. Eventually I stopped using the vibration thing, cause it wasn't making my lashes any more voluminous. At first the idea of putting a mascara wand that vibrates close to your was a little scary, but it wasn't bad at all.

Would I buy this? For the price and amount of product, no I would not. I didn't think the vibration added anything extra, so I'm going to have to pass this.

Next lash review will be of a mascara that has the best packaging ever!!! :D

Have you tried the vibrating mascara?

The First Long Trip Alone

還有謝謝我的導遊先生,MR.COBYFOOL
p.s. 記得別忘記我們的promise okay ;)

Stay A Little Longer Cause I'm Gonna Miss You Forever

Imma K-Cuisine Freak!

HELLO EVERYBODY AND HAPPY DEEPAVALI! Have you planned your schedule on this long weekend? I'm currently back to my hometown! I could indulge myself in the craving for delicacies everytime I come back to my lovely home. And of course, this time was not an exception too.

Second sis brought us to Han Korea BBQ Restaurant @Taman Molek yesterday. It was almost a full house when we reached the restaurant at the dinner time. There were quite a number of Singaporean customers due to the public holiday.

They served a great variety of korean cuisine. From the main course to the side order, you name it they have it.

A standard Korean meal with all the dishes and bowls. They were usually refillable and free of charge.

Bibimbap with the raw sunny side up.

It's just like the mixed rice with vegetables and some rice crust. To whom who hates egg yolk, I guess this would be the last dishes that you would want to try.

Seafood pancake. However there's always no seafood inside the pancake in every korean restaurant that I dined -___-

Ginseng chicken soup. Not really appeal to me.

Non-marinated tenderloin

More juicy if compared with pork.

The MUST HAVE CONDIMENTS of Korean barbecue : sesame oil, ssamjang (spicy soy bean paste), lettuce & garlic slice

Streaky pork to-be-grilled

Done!

My way of eating Korean BBQ:

A slice of lettuce with the meat inside to reduce the grease.Topped with some ssamjang.

If you are someone who's so into heavy flavour (like me), you can add a slice of garlic too.

Wrap the meat with lettuce nicely. And..... Om nom nom nom nom, yummmy! (I should take a pic to illustrate how I gobbled down the whole wrapping :D)

P.S. You may also like another post of mine about Korean cuisine :)
