Holiday look - Fall leaves

You know, I have a great imagination. I'm sure no one else has drawn inspiration from the fall leaves. ;)

Here's my version of the many.

I used my newest baby, the Manly 120 Palette. (Just wait till I get my other babies that are on their way from the States. Yes, I did some shopping on several occasions. If my calculations are correct, I should be getting the first package this week!)

But back to this look. As I said, I used the Manly 120 palette.

I recently created a log system that I know what products I use etc... I know the ThePinkLadyJ (on youtube) has one like mine, I basically copied her A LOT.)

And here are the drawings or something on my lid.

I put NYX's Jumbo eyeshadow pencil in Pots&Pans on the whole lid. Also a matte skin colored shadow under the brows to ease blending later.

Then color #2 on the middle quarters of the lid.

 Color #3 in the crease, and color #5 to the outer corner.

 Color #1 to the inner corner. Color #6 to the outer corner. Color #4 I used as a liner. It applied ridiculously well with a Coastal Scents IB113 Taklon liner brush.

Then I noticed that the line on my browbone is a little too harsh, so I added color #1 (earlier put in the inner corner) to the harsh line and blended that with the highlight I used in the very beginning. 

(Remember, the colors are not modified at all in a photo editing program. I only changed places where I took the photos. In a darker corner, by a lamp, on my sunny balcony, but not in direct sunlight.)

So I had some problems with Intense Debate a while ago, which led me to deleting the app and putting it back. And I lost a bunch of comments. :(

Now I had to delete it again. I'm incredibly frustrated with it. Lost the comments again.

Hometown Besties

I just sat for my first subject of final exam this morning. I don't really understand the essay question and after the exam, I searched for the answer in my notes but there was not even a single page related with the question. I was not sure whether this question was out of syllabus or what. I was asking everyone like: "How have you answered the 'employee counselling' question?" Then all the answer I got was: "Just crap!" I feel that I am not alone. LOL

Sorry I haven't been blogging much these days. I have been burying myself in reading since the following two weeks will be the exam week. Besides that, I have to endure with fever and cough. Luckily my condition has improved a lot, otherwise this definitely will be killing me in this exam week.

I went for a gathering with my high school friends during the last holiday at hometown. I didn't take much photos because YenJou & I had left earlier to meet up wit JY. We went to Jusco Tebrau for a midnight movie session. We were managed to watch Step Up 3 at the third row and my back became so stiff after the movie. However the movie was satisfying, it worth to watch the second time :)

The queue was so long tho it was already midnight. It was public holiday.

Yeah yeah, Hunny boy came to meet me at JB on the next day! The couple and us had our lunch @the korean food restaurant 食客. I miss the korean food so much! Wu li YenJou, when lar we will pay our second visit to 食客 again???

Hunny had a hair-cut the day before he met me.
I kept complaining that he didn't look good in short hair :(

YenJou suggested us to order the set meal for two persons only even though we had four persons' stomach rumbled with hunger during that time. She said that the portion they served for two person set meal should be enough for us. We understood it after the meal. So full!

The marinated chicken, pork belly and squid were grilled to the perfection by the waitress.

Kimchi pancake. Hunny loves it.

This savory soup was quite spicy but it was well balanced with the kimchi.

End of post :) I have to back to the revision now.

The next subject will be Mathematics on Friday. I hate math :(

Very simple look.

Hey everyone!

Today's eye of the day is a very simple look. Not a very natural look as you can see.

My everyday makeup tends to be a whole lot darker than the average girl's. Probably what I wear during the day is what majority of people who are not as crazy about makeup as I am, wear on a night out if even then, you know what I mean right?


I used MAC's Bare Study on the whole lid.

Skinny Jeans by GDE on the whole lid. Then dark matte brown in the crease. Black eyeliner and mascara to finish the look with.

It was a fun day at the chemistry lab today. I took these pictures after I came home. So this is what my makeup looks 5 hours after applying it. I don't ever touch up my makeup (with the exception of lip stuff) during the day.

MAC Paint Pots and stuff

Hey everyone! How's it going? Good? Hope so!

This look came out of nowhere!

I put MAC's Bare Study Paint pot on the whole lid and nearly up to my brow. Then I put Delft like the picture below shows... I put paint pots 98% of the time with my fingers, I feel like blending them is easier then. Paint Pots 'dry' on your skin quite fast so if you want to get the blending done you need to work fast. Otherwise you'll have to blend it dry, and it gets patchy, like in the picture by the arrow. Click picture to get a better look.

This picture has only Bare Study and Delft. I put Delft in layers. (Actually I think these paint pots look quite good on their own... eyeshadows might not be absolutely necessary...)

I put some frosty beige eyeshadow to where I had put Bare Study.

The mossy green frost eyeshadow to where Delft was placed.

I put some MAC Plumage to the outer corner. And the lower lash line.

I used the Coastal Scents IB113 Taklon Liner brush with the black Makeup Store gel eye liner. Added Grimas matte black shadow on the gel liner. And some black mascara...

I need to do a "how I do my eyeliner"-post because after looking at numerous youtube videos and reading blogposts about it, I consider myself a weirdo cause I don't use the same technique that the majority of them seem to use.

Happy Birthday, I'm 19.

After the COS music sharing night, we planned to catch a movie. As usual, TanFei drove his own car & we rented another car to go the dinner place, Amigo. On the way to Amigo, Apple texted me and told me that the movie was fully booked. I told the rest of the passengers, which was hunny, XiuXiu & Elaine. We decided to have our dinner first and plan what to do next during the dinner time.

After the dinner, I was asking everyone like: "Where are we going later? Give some suggestion leh!". I'm usually the "activities initiater a.k.a planner" of our group because spending great time with great friends is the greatest thing! Agreeable? :) Yet, everyone was giving me an idk face. I was cracking my mind to give some ideas until I saw YingYing was holding a candle-lit cake, walking with XiuXiu together towards our table, LOL, surprise!

I was still in the ugly shocked expression, haha

I made two wishes this year ;)

I pecked on his struggling cheek due to the masses' demand.

In fact, they only planned to celebrate my birthday at the night, no movies in the schedule at all & that was just a sweet prank they played to give me this pleasant surprise! Thanks for giving me such an unexpectable surprise which I couldn't anticipate it at all!

Finally, the time for me to reveal some sincere words here. Although I am considered as a latecomer of the group, I'm happy that I can get along with you all very well. The group of us, no matter boys or girls, we have few things that are common among us. The girls in our group are those paparazzo-like chatterbox. Our topics vary in significance — a new relationship emerges between so-and-so, pictures of mutual friends in facebook or some new shoes or new clothes that we bought. In fact, our love of idle chatter brings us closer together :) We aren't those flirtatious whores who spent most of their time on boys and enjoy playing the relationship game. (you know i know who :P) Thus, I believe there's no harm in a little gossip, isn't it? And also the boys, the common thing among them is they can crack lotsa lame jokes on anything when we are together. ZhiQin said there is still one similiar thing, that is all of them are good-looking! According to him, TanFei is the attractive cool guy, CC is those typical charming type, AhFoong is the double-poles magnet who attracts both the guys & chicks, and himself, doubtlessly handsome! (EHEM! = =)

Finally!!! The Lush post

I ordered soaps from Lush in the end of last year. And I still have some left. I did not order that much even.

I took these pictures in April. I probably have forgotten the names so these are just guesses. Father frost and Sultana of Soap. I'm not sure if they're right...

Anyway the first three soaps are the ones I got for free with my order!

Father frost is a lovely blue soap. Would buy it again. Sultana of Soap smells disgusting. It's the kind of smell I cannot stand. I did notice though that as time goes by the smell disappears and then it's just a soap and even I can use it.

The third one I got was Porridge. I adore it. Would definitely buy it again. Although now that I have used it for a while, and the piece has gotten smaller and smaller, the little grains are more defined and I guess my hands are a little sensitive cause the grains are quite hard!

The one actual soap that I did order was The Godmother. I haven't tried it yet, considering I still have the samples in use.

These soaps last for a long time. I wash my hands quite a few times a day at home with soap and I still have the small pieces left that I got.

I also bought two shower gels, one that I'm half way through, Happy Hippy. And then there's one that I haven't tried yet.

While I was looking for the pictures of the soaps I found some pictures of a look I did but never posted...
