All I Have to Do Is Dream

I woke up with a start yesterday morning.Without a second thought, I rushed down to the living room. Before I could take a glance on the wall clock I saw a familiar car stopped in front of my house.Then a crying voice raised loudly inside my heart :"OMG! Nooooooooooooo!!!"
(I know I have been over-dramatically describing it, LOL)

It was CK's car & SinXee was with him yesterday morning. I was in my sleeping suit with hair dishevelled & undoubtedly both of them saw me with a speechless expression. CK told me he would come to fetch me at 9am, yet unfortunately I forgot that my phone, little blackie was officially malfunctioned & I forgot to set the alarm in my mum's phone. That's why something like this would happen in the early sweet morning. I felt so so so sorry to CK & SinXee, so awkward to let both of you to see me like this & waited me to get ready. >< SinXee & me wanted to take our SPM result certificate and as a good Samaritan like CK would definitely willing to be our driver of the day. Like finally, we set out to our high school after I had prepared myself to go out. Some photos were taken:

We stayed at our high school until the Form 6 gang had to start their examination, after that we ciao to have a meal @Green Hut right beside our high school. Here would have the food which I deeply yearned for as I used to spend my lunch money here everyday during my past high school time, especially during Form 5.

After CK fetched me home, I planned to take a nap after shower during that extraordinary hot afternoon. However, my boredom rescuers, that were MingHui & CK appeared in front my house all of a sudden again to fetch me out for a movie. I could just get on MingHui's car immediately without any physical & mental preparation but a BIG THANK should be credited to them. They saved me from being "rotten" and marked an end to my five-day-Otaku-life. (FYI, Otaku refers to someone who stays at home all the time and doesn't have a life (no social life, no love life, etc).

We went to City Square to watch this movie - A Nightmare on Elm Street.

I was terrified by this finger-bladed demon, Freddy. Again, I covered my eyes with my hand whenever I noticed any horror scenes were going to be shown up during the movie, LOL. I know I was very lame for doing so but horror movies really scare me to death! ><

After the movie, CK & MingHui accompanied me to shop for some new clothes & high heels for my darling's cousin's wedding dinner. YES I mean I will be going to attend it & I feel so nervous because I have no experiences at all to attend boyfriend's relative wedding day or any important family event. CK & MingHui were my best male shopping companion ever as they never breath a word against me although I spent almost theree hours in shopping & I was being very hesitant to make a decision to buy my stuff. They even gave me lotsa suggestions to assist me to choose the best one. (Whoa, my fashion consultant summore!)

We had our dinner @Axtivo Cafe, Taman Sutera Utama. It was MingHui's recommendation & he told us that this cafe was AhToi's favourite too.

我的心情實在是跟照片一樣，很跳TONE啊~

我也不知道我哪來的膽量敢拍這樣的照片還那麼明目張膽的放上來

沒想到一個噩夢不但讓我一整天都鬱鬱寡歡的，還導致我的神經中樞有點失調了

真想唱首歌啊~“不知道爲了什麽~~~憂愁它圍繞著我~~~” 唉。

人嘛，是個很矛盾的結合體。

明明知道再不開始溫習就會來不及，
卻總是要等到該考的都考完了才在牆角歎息。

明明知道我已經超重很久了，
卻還是硬要把一堆零食雪糕泡麵往自己的嘴裡塞。

明明知道夢不是真的，
卻硬要把它看得太重，以致它成為不開心的根源。

明明知道多問其實也不能改變什麽，
卻總是在跟明輝出來的時候彆扭的問起他我們當時的事。

明明知道其實再這樣下去也只會兩敗俱傷，
卻寧可鐵齒的鉆牛角尖繼續鬧脾氣。

May 12th - EOTD

Just a quick post before I'm going to my friends house to watch a game.

An abnormal look by GDE

See this is what I'm doing instead of working on a presentation that I need to send to the other people in my group, or doing homework, or studying in general. Or working. I'm the master of procrastination.

First GDE Premonition to the whole lid on top of NYX jumbo pencil Milk + primer.
Skin toned matte eyeshadow to soften Premonition's outlines.

GDE Olivia Green to the lower lash line.

GDE Electric Lemonade to the inner and outer corners + tearduct area. It does go a little higher in the outer corner than the purple Premonition.

Coastal Scents gel eye liner Maroon.
Shimmery golden beige as highlight.

I'm not entirely sure what I think of this look.

Korres Tinted Moisturizer

Lately I have been interested in trying out a tinted moisturizer for the summer.

I don't think I had heard of Korres until Lovely Violet wrote about them in her blog and did reviews on youtube. I found myself searching around Korres website. I found a product I'd be interested in, their Watermelon Lightweight Tinted Moisturizer, with an SPF 30.

I am pale. Seriously pale so I don't think the two darker shades would be good, but the lightest shade would be. Pretty much in any foundation I always look at the lightest shades and sometimes that is too dark for me. (One of Maybelline's foundations specifically for light skinned scandinavians is too dark for me.) Which is why the 01 Light Sand would be the best for me.

I have read one review about this and it was on Temptalia. (Only had time to search for one before typing this.) What I look for in a moisturizer is it's moisturizing ability. My skin is mostly dry (cheeks, T-zone) but I'd say it's normal around my jaw line. So if this isn't very moisturizing then I'd have to use my moisturizer and this one, which would defy the purpose. I really do like that it's SPF 30. I use SPF 30 during the winter as well because I am that pale and very sensitive to the sun, I burn and then I'm back to pale, I don't get tan at all.

I'm still thinking about this. Is paying 24.40€ worth it, for 30ml of product that might not suit me the best? Well, good that right now (at least on the Korres website) my shade is out of stock so I can't even order it. I haven't looked for other places to order it from., and I don't even know if Korres is even sold in my country?! These are just my thoughts on a Sunday morning.


I guess I'm still going to be on the lookout for a tinted moisturizer. Any suggestions?

Nail update

A week has passed since I put on press on nails. Link to that post.

I really did like them. But they were too long for me. I kept hitting my fingers to car doors and wherever. It is not a pleasant feeling when the fake nail and your own nails is pulled backwards because you hit things. I had trouble zipping up my jeans, buttoning my coat, I could not take off my contacts without fearing that I'll poke my eye and go blind. I wore contacts only once during the time I had the nails. These nails were medium length.


They were so pretty! I loved having long nails because they looked so, so nice, but they just weren't practical for me. My youngest nephew is now 10 weeks old and you can probably imagine how it was to change his diapers and dress him. I was afraid I'll poke his eye out with my nails. I didn't, so no need to worry! :D

But they were so pretty.

I had nailpolish remover that was just acetone + some oil. Nothing else. It took a couple Friends episodes for the nails to melt off. Yeah, I had my fingers of one hand in a cup full of acetone for the duration of one episode. It took about 5 minutes to get the molten fake nail off of my nail. Then I watched another Friends episode and had my other hand in the cup. It was a lengthy process but I got them off. I got most of the glue off, I could've gotten it all but I didn't feel like soaking my fingers in acetone anymore. There's a little left. It's messy business.

Some nailpolish removers have dried my fingers so badly, but this didn't. And this was only acetone and some oil that I can't remember name of anymore cause I threw the bottle out (DO NOT pour acetone to the drains! It's a hazardous substance so be sure to get rid of it the right way. I put the acetone I used back to the nail polish remover bottle that was almost empty anyway and I am taking the bottle to the hazardous substance trash place whatever it's called.)

I haven't used any kinds of lotion on my hands at all. I haven't even put body lotion on my body since then so I haven't gotten any kind of lotion and look at the skin of my fingers now., didn't get a irritating reaction.. Pretty awesome huh? Not dry at all.

I cut all my nails quite short now. The nails on my thumbs', index fingers' an middle fingers ' nails hardly ever grow much longer because I guess I do a lot of work with my hands so they don't get a chance to grow, but my ring fingers' and pinkys' nails grow longer. Long nails look so, so nice but they really are not practical for me.

I painted my nails with China Glaze's Grape Pop. This is my first China Glaze nailpolish. I believe I'm going to get more of them from somewhere. Why? Because I realized that in the end they're cheaper. The usual nailpolish brand that I buy is like 5-7 euros a bottle. It has 6 ml of stuff in it. CG was 9€ or so, but it has 14ml of product. Over double the amount of product for not double the price. And if I get them from an online store or abroad they'll most likely be cheaper.

Tutorial - Red & Silver

I was supposed to upload this yesterday but since I found out on Saturday night that I have a rather difficult and extremely detailed exam on Monday morning. I spent yesterday studying for it and didn't do anything to my blog because I did not have the time. I also had to go visit my parents so this blog was not my priority. Now after the exam I have a little time to update before my next class at 2PM.

This is a red + silver tutorial and the end result looks like this.

First I applied NYX jumbo eyeshadow pencil Milk to the inner corner. Coastal scents gel liner in Maroon to the rest of the lid, like so.

Then Glamour Doll Secretive. Secretive is a gorgeous pink that unfortunately does not photograph well at all.

GDE Lovers Lane, which is a dark, maroon, shimmery red to the outer half or so. Concentrating a little in the middle of the lid. Then Grimas matte 545 which is a dark red to the outer corner and crease. Lower lash line lined with Grimas too.

I blended the eyeshadows with a basic shimmery silver. I used it a little as a highlight as well.

Liner + mascara.

This liner is a little different from my usual. It's not my usual winged liner either. It's somewhere in between.
