Want a liner that stays for 9 hours?!

Gosh is your friend.

I have had gruelling 9 hour work days where I've been dealing with 600+ customers a day. And had black liner on my lower water line.

I've used Gosh's Velvet Touch waterproof (I don't think they make Velvet Touch as non-waterproof) in Black Ink. It is just plain black.

Oh goodness it is difficult to take good and sharp pictures with good lighting of your waterline!!!
I know it has come of a little, but mostly only from the corners, and the color has faded a little but that's to be expected, isn't it? Pencil liners do that nearly everytime, even if I use them on my top lash line...

Both pictures are clickable if you want to see them in a bigger size.

I love this for the lower water line. Stays put just the amount that I want it to! These don't cost a fortune either!

Have you tried Gosh's Velvet touch liners, or any other Gosh liners?

A look for the girls' night we had...

I'm quite sure this look was when I was practicing a St. Patrick's day look, but obviously came up with a better one. ;)

The liner is by GOSH, and it's Pretty Petrol.

There's some light, light brown in the inner corner. Lid has a brownish green.
Outer corner has some brown.

What do you think?

Playing and testing

I am quite sure that I have had this look on this blog already, because it probably is one of my most used color combinations, and with this one it is also extremely simple to go from a day look to an evening, going out look.

Basically I am just using a light purplish pink on the lid and a maroon-like red/purple in the crease and outer corner. And a cat-eyeish black eyeliner on the top lid.

These pictures are from the evening look, where I lined my lower lash line and waterline with Gosh's Woody Green, Velvet Touch eyeliner pencil and added some soot-colored eyeshadow into the outer corner to darken the look.

And the rare picture of both of my eyes. I honestly cannot take a decent picture of my left eye. I'm right-handed and holding the camera in my left hand or taking the camera to my left with my right hand is just impossible, I can't focus, I don't get a picture of my whole eye, because my aim isn't good and my left eyebrow always looks weird for some odd reason. I know eyebrows aren't supposed to be identical twins, but instead sisters, and that's how they are now, but I'd like to have them look a little more like sisters anyway. Haha, like a typical woman, we can always come up with a fault in everything. :D

How do you change your day look into an evening look?

GOSH Eyeliner pencils

I don't have many Gosh products. The only things I have are Eyeliner pencils. And my, oh my, they are great! Their staying power is probably a little too much even. :D

And when I say they're too good I really mean it. I have a face wash that I wash my face with everyday. I never had to use a makeup remover to remove my makeup. But I have no choice but to do that with the Gosh pencils. Sometimes you really do need an eyeliner pencil that really sticks.

The eyeliner in these pictures is Pretty Petrol. It says Velvet Touch Eye Liner - Waterproof

Today's eye of the day is nothing too special. A light lid with a medium shimmery brown crease. Blue eyeliner as a special effect. I was in a little bit of a hurry this morning and I only had two exams today and no classes. My quick makeup is always something like this, a neutral eye basically. The eyeliner color just changes. ;)

What's your view on Gosh products?

Tutorial - Woody green

Hey everyone!

I bought a couple things yesterday and I'm using one of them in todays look/tutorial.

I'll do a separate haul post later when I get the stuff I ordered yesterday and today, from the US, which will probably be sometime closer to New years, definately not before Christmas, if I get either one before Christmas I will be so surprised. :D Though I doubt it.

This is what I did..

I put some MAC Delft paint pot on my lid first. Quite lightly. Then I used GOSH Eye liner in Woody Green on upper and lower lash line.

I took a moss green eye shadow and patted it on my lid on top of Delft.

I took another, a tiny bit lighter green eye shadow which has a tint of brown in it and used it in my crease.

I took some lemonlike yellow and placed that on the inner corner and connected it with the golden beige highlight color. Those two I used to blend in the green.

And actually here I lined my lower lash line with the same GOSH eye liner. I used a peach eye liner on my waterline.

Black mascara. Hmph. This mascara I haven't even had for that long and it's already making my lashes look like that, especially the lower lashes. :( Not good. Well, I have a lash comb, but still...

I don't know why, but I've really been liking green lately.. I have always liked reds, blues, and yellows a whole lot more than green. I didn't own a single green shirt before this past summer!

Disclaimer: All products bought by me. I have no affiliation with the companies mentioned.

Have you noticed reaching for a color you didn't really like that much before?
