Busy busy...

With this... See you next week after my exams!

The Ultimate Choices

Few bloggers have done this already and I decided to join the bandwagon.

You choose the products you could not live without, and then list one product for each category.

I could not live without are:
-mascara
-liquid eyeliner
-brow pencil

Yes, that is it.

Products I can live without, but would prefer to have are:
-foundation
-blush
-eyeshadow

Now begins the hard part; choosing one product for each category.

For mascara I think I would go with Maybelline's Volum Express in black. I have used that for years, and if I can't decide on what mascara to test next, I return to Volum Express.

Liquid Eyeliner could be either a cake eyeliner, or Sensai's liquid eyeliner, or We Care Icon's liquid eyeliner. I think I would now choose Sensai's liquid eyeliner, just because you don't need a brush and water to use it. I love cake eyeliners because they stay on really well and last a lifetime, don't get me wrong, but whenever I travel cake eyeliners can be a bit of a pain.

As for what brow pencil I would use, I don't really have a preference. I have tried several, but I can't see a clear difference between the two. Right now I am using IsaDora's brow pencil in light brown. It is not a reddish brown. I need more of a gray brown pencil.

I really liked mineral powder foundations, but for some reason this fall I haven't been able to use them as my skin has been dryer than before, or something. I don't really know what it is. My current foundation is very good. It is Clinique's Even better foundation in 03, ivory.

As for blushes, I really don't have a favorite. Any pinkish shade will do, but preferably an off-shade if you know what I mean. I don't know the name in English.

I think for eyeshadows I would choose my Manly 120, because it does have a lot of colors, and neutrals as well. Other option would be the Naked-palette. Or an Inglot-freedom palette, like others have mentioned already.

Now, it is your turn!!!

Monaco Wedding

For me the British royals aren't the most interesting. They just aren't. But I am interested in the Swedish royals and the ones from Monaco. (What are they? Monacoan? I have no idea.)

I adored Crown Princess Victoria's wedding dress last year. I had planned my own wedding dress, or more like I had a dream about it. Then Duchess Catherine stepped out of the car that drove her to Westminster Abbey and my dream crushed. Her top was exactly like how imagine mine to be. This means, I don't want to wear that kind of a dress anymore if I get married someday because everyone knows that dress and will say it's a copy. She had my dress. After seeing her dress, I lost the tiny bit of interest I had in the wedding.

Anyway I am very excited for the Monaco Wedding. I find Miss Charlene Wittstock to be very glamourous, very beautiful and extremely royal already, even before they got married. (They just had the civil ceremony.)

She has grace, calmness and elegance. She fits Monaco. She seems bold.

Do you follow any Royal Families and what they do?

PS. YAY for 100 followers!!!

Normal user, or addict?

One morning I could not do my makeup when I normally do it, so I moved to the kitchen. Usually I take a product out, use it, put it back to the drawer where it's from. Now that I was in the kitchen I didn't feel like walking back and forth doing that, so I took all the stuff with me.

These are the products I use on a daily basis. Eyeshadows might change, but really this is it. I know that for some this might be a lot, especially for non-makeup geeks. But for us makeup bloggers, this just might be the norm, or maybe people use even more? Do you?

-brushes: Kabuki for powder foundation, eye liner brush, 4 eyeshadow brushes, blush brush, bronzer brush
-3 eyeshadows + trio (used only the skin color there cause that is used for blending mostly),
-bronzer for contouring
-eye and face primers
-powder foundation
-MAC paint pot
-2 mascaras
-concealer
-eyeliner
-blush

I was in a hurry to go somewhere so I didn't clean up immediately. My boyfriend saw this, and I said "yeah I know, that looks like a huge amount of stuff I wear daily". He had to ask, to make sure, "you have all this stuff on your face right now?" Then he continued that it "doesn't seem like thish much makeup that you have on now."

Girls, I did it. I use a lot of makeup, without making it look like I have a lot on. Wooooo!

Now, what do you use on a daily basis?

Update

So something happened today which made me change the address of my blog and the title. Stupid me. Basically I wrote the address somewhere where I really should not have written it and well, I changed the url.

I also went and edited all the places where I had this blog address posted and that resulted in me losing all of the comments made after I changed to IntenseDebate. I can still see them when I'm logged in there, but they cannot be seen in my blog. :( I had sooo many nice comments there and I feel incredibly stupid right now. :( I'm angry at myself for being stupid.

If you've been following this blog through blogger and through this other place that there is then you do not need to do anything, cause the urls have been changed through here.

Sorry about all of this!

edit.!!! I'm sooo pissed off right now! I lost _all_ of the comments. not just the ones written while I was using intense debate. I want to cry.

I was given this blog award by Lovely Violet. She is such a sweet heart! Thank you so much! (Sorry it took me a while to post this.)

A little update.

Hey everyone,

I got quite sick on Wednesday and haven't had the energy to post anything to my blog like I wrote in my last post, so I apologize. I will be writing some sort of a review of three nail polishes that I bought recently so keep waiting for those. :)

Have a nice weekend!

General update

I have been quite busy with all the things I need to do for my classes. Today was my last lecture day. We have finals next week and the one after and then it's time for Christmas vacation... :D

I have taken some pictures during the time I have not written anything, I have even transferred all of them to my computer, however I have not edited them at all or even organized them in a good way to post on here. I have just been so busy with 8 courses, 2 of them will still continue after the New Year, but I'll have 6 exams now. I'll try to get into the rhythm of posting again soon.
