It's Not About the Money, Money, Money

Time to update my blog! It has been one week since I updated the last entry. I'm reluctant to say that my one month holiday finally comes to the end and the new trimester has started two days ago. Sigh, far be it from me to overcome with the holiday spirit. I must get over the post-holiday depression asap or else I'll become more resistant to attend classes. Anyone knows the solution to overcome this situation? :(

In fact I do know one, but I'm not sure whether it's really working. Just keep your schedule more packed before the school reopening. It can be one week or few days before the school reopening. Like how? You can be a busy working lady, like me ;) Personally I think that those hectic working days do help me to adapt with the busy trimester.
I found myself five different part-time jobs for this long holiday. I had been recruited as the promoter for fruit juice, paint, milk, pain relieving product and mobile phone.

One of the interesting part-time jobs was the Dutch Lady Milk Election. It was really a good and easy part time job. I worked for shorter hours and got higher salary than the usual part-time job in this milk election. We worked in the team of three, one driver and two promoters. What we need to do was to distribute the milk sampling with four different flavours to the public and ask them to vote for their favourite flavour.

Probably you have already seen this milk election advertisement on Youtube or Facebook before.

Each person would be given this voting form after the milk tasting session.
There were four flavours available: red bean, sweet corn, melon & caramel toffee.

This was a mobile roadshow and one of the voting location was Larkin bus terminal, Johor Bahru.
See how the Sweet Corn and Caramel accompanied the passenger waiting for the bus arrival :D

So fun working with them! Die laughing when I saw them ran crazily on the street and purposely approached to the car and scare those drivers off! LOL!!!

This was my colleague Sin Mei :) We chatted like non-stop along the journey from one working location to another. This job would not be so fun without her! She's a travel lover and I wish I can be like her to visit every interesting destination in one day. If I am not mistaken, she's gonna travel to Korea next week!
Bon voyage and hope to see you again, Sin Mei :)

Did you notice that the Caramel actually o0o Red Bean in the photo? XD

And I could get free cartons of milk during the four working days. I brought a full ice box of milk home everyday!

Right after the Dutch Lady roadshow, I headed to Melaka for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc roadshow @Jusco Bandaraya. It was selling at the retail price of RM2099, inclusive of RM429 worth of free gifts. Perhaps some will find it's quite pricey and rather to buy iPhone instead. For me, I would say that this phone is definitely worth the price for its outstanding camera function and superior image quality. Most of the photos below were taken with SE Xperia Arc while I grabbed some of the DSLR photos from the company Facebook fans page. Just looking at 'em with your bare eyes, can you tell which photos were taken by Xperia Arc or DSLR? ;)

PROFESSIONAL promoter in the making! Nahhh I'm just kidding. I'm still 'half bucket of water' in promoting and communicating with people.

However, I find myself become more communicative after various job experiences that I have gone through. Communication skill is actually an important aspect for us to be competent in school and workplace, isn't it?

Look at the crowd during happy hour!

There were total eight of us who worked as the promoters in the roadshow :)

Say Hi to Hui Ru <3 Big thanks for Vincent and her for fetching me everyday! Without your help, I didn't know if I could still go work at the roadshow. (P.S. After 'someone' literally stood me up. Hmmmp!)

I still can't do a natural teeth showing smile right? Anyway I like this pic :)

From left: Wen Ya, me, Li Bao & An Qi. *A lil' sentimental time* I must say that I'M REALLY LUCKY ENOUGH TO KNOW THIS BUNCH OF GIRLS. I actually missing how we waited the break time impatiently and finally together went for it happily. I love it when we laughed at those silly jokes and thoughts from each other. I'm so glad that we could get along so well! It's really great to know you girls in this roadshow. Love y'all ♥

I will always remember the time that we dine @Lao You Gui Gui for our dinner, like almost everyday?
HAHA
I thought the six working days would be the perfect time for me to slim down a bit because I would rather to skip my meal instead of eating alone. But with you girls, I was actually consuming so much fattening food like bubble tea, KFC and Shih Lin chicken chop! Don't forget our food hunt day!!! I want cheese steamboattttt!!!!

P.S. Sometimes it's really not all about the money. It can be so lucky to know awesome people that speak the same language with you while gaining a lot of experience together in life.

Ended the post with love. XOXO

She Just Turned 20

(IDK how to begin) So uhhh, this is a belated birthday post for my favourite girl's big day! :) Her birthday is on 13rd February. This post is late because my final examination weeks just ended few days ago and finally I have vacant time to update about the birthday celebration. We celebrated her birthday at Dream Box KTV, Dataran Pahlawan.

I was at my hometown with the bf on her birthday evening. So did XiuXiu. We rushed to Melaka and reached Dream Box KTV around thirty minutes later than Elaine. Once we reached, we couldn't wait to help ourselves to the food with the buffet provided because we were starved.

The pixies of the night:

It's not that we love to take toilet mirror pictures or we are LALA, it's just that the lightning in the washroom is always better. I wonder why? :P

Apple, the birthday girl & me.

My boy loves to sing karaoke but I don't.
I feel awkward to sing in front of the others but I will sing out loud when I am alone or with my boy till he wants to slap me because I'm too annoying. *teehee*

Her chinese zodiac is horse. She was the earliest among us to reach the threshold of 20-year-old.
That's why we were calling her "Elaine Horse Jie Jie" :P

Tell me your wish *wink*

I like this candid shot :)

Nadeje was a trend! We had numerous Nadeje cakes for the besties' birthday.

Miss birthday girl with her boy :)

Let's have a toast!

Cheers to the birthday girl, Miss Elaine Wong!

I broke a glass, again?! I broke a teapot lid at Sakura House last time :(

Our pressie to Elaine:
A lovely cosmetic pouch bought at Jonker Street & Victoria Secret Body Mist - Berry Kiss.

I look forward to enjoy our friendship as well as many more of your birthdays :)
Once again, happy belated birthday to my babe Elaine! Mwah >3

いらっしゃいませ ♥

I'm sorry to keep you waiting for my updates! Omatase shimashita!
Finally the Marketing and Statistics midterm test are over and midterm break begins :D

I had been helping out at the RAGE (Radical Anime Games Expo) Costume Cafe the week before the break started. It was organized by the campus EMINA club and I was invited by ShinYee to be a part of this event. She is a die hard fans of yaoi. She's obsessed with anything related with male homosexuality a.k.a BL (Boys Love). My job were to serve the cafe customers and sell fruit tarts around the campus. It was an easy task so I ended up with dragging other crews for camwhoring together :P

We were selling anime related products too!

Apparently I know nothing in anime/manga field. I need a mentor :(

I don't know a single anime character but I think they're so kawaii :)

Don't you think so? >3

The first day of my duty. Met Chloe, the Miss All-Time-Helpful. The fruit tart selling task became so easy when I had a partner like her. She had a wide social circle :)

YianYing, she saved my blushes when I was socially awkward to approach people for promoting >3

With MayLin, the head of Cafe Division. We have known each other thru ShinYee & HuiKuen like one year ago :)

KaiYuan, the cool red hair guy who spent his all vacant time in this event. Xin ku ler ;)

The kawaii girl, Jessy. She would whoop whenever her favourite one-piece character appeared in front of her :D

*Hugs Hugs*

Girls in yukata take ONE ♥

Khoon Jessy KaiYuan.

The pic was taken during fruit tart selling with KaiYuan.

KeeWee came! I know you would buy more tarts from me if you quit clubbing for one week :P

Jeremy & Ron came too :D

The RAGE cafe. Not really had a cafe atmosphere thou =X

Sandwich in the making.

The gaming zone.

Hunny came too! He did some photoshoots for me on the last day of my duty. The very unprofessional one lar -____-

p.s. It's such a regret that I was unable to fulfill my duties for the last day of the event. It was fun and I am looking forward to work with you guys next time. Arigatogozaimatsu :) And finally the first post of the new layout! This post had been gone through a 'difficult labour' as it's really hard for me to keep my butt in the chair lately because it is midterm break naoooo! Casual hangout, shopping time and family gathering just don't allow me to finish this post earlier.

I'll be back shortly. Do miss me XOXO
