Orly Cosmic FX Collection

Guess what I (finally) got!

I won a Twitter giveaway organized by Orly probably two months ago. After a long wait, I finally got them today.

I expected that that shipping will take some time, but not this long. About a month ago I started asking other winners if they'd gotten the polishes they won, they hadn't. I was told that Orly was changing PR staff or something and had just shipped out the products two days earlier.

I waited 2 weeks. And in the end of the 2 weeks I had gotten a letter from FedEx in my country that they tried to deliver a package, but no one was home at the time. I called and set up a new delivery time. They only gave me "Friday 8 am - 4 pm". I didn't have school that day so I could stay home. And I did.  No package. A little after 4 I called FedEx again and they said they'd try to deliver the package again this week. And this time I'd get a call before the driver is near by so that I'd be home. We talked about Wednesday. Today, on Thursday, I got a call when I was in school, that he'd be able to bring the package to me in about an hour. I get home, wait about 45 minutes and then I am holding the package!!!

From this I learned that if I order something, I don't want FedEx. I want a notice that the package is waiting for me in the post office and I can go get it whenever I want. Deliveries to my house seem to not work out.

I open the package. There are 6 nail polishes alright. Except, no Galaxy Girl, but I got two It's not Rocket Science-polishes...  Does someone have an unopened Galaxy Girl and willing to swap for It's not Rocket Science? Hmph. Swapping might be a little too big of a hassle. Maybe I'll just do a giveaway at some point... What do you say?

All Lacquered Up has some great swatches of this collection!

I had a hard time choosing which nailpolish to try on first. And because Space Cadet looked so fantastic on All Lacquered Up, I put that on first. It is g o r g e o u s!

I thought it was good with just two coats. I didn't really feel the need to put a third one. No bubbles appeared (yet at least). I did end up putting a third coat, because I hit my finger on something and got a scratch, and managed to fix that with another coat of polish. I haven't put a top coat yet, because I'm fairly certain that does induce bubbles... :S Gotta get a new one. Or just go without.
